The Kigezi Tourism Cluster Platform (KTCP) is a consortium of various tourism stakeholders in the Kigezi region. Kigezi Region covers what are now Kabale District, Kanungu District, Kisoro District, Rukiga District, Rubanda District, Rukungiri District, in Southwest Uganda. The Kigezi Tourism Cluster Platform (KTCP) consists of the tourism stakeholders broadly categorized into; Public Agencies, the Academic and Research Institutions, Private Sector Operators along the Tourism Value Chain and the Local Communities (Banyakigezi).

The largest town in Kigezi, and the main gateway to the region, is Kabale. which lies 430km from Kampala and 117km from Mbarara. The other important town and urban center is Kisoro, strategically situated at the hose of the Virungas close to the borders with Rwanda and the DRC. The other districts are Kabale District, Kanungu District, Kisoro District, Rukiga District, Rubanda District, Rukungiri District
